Born and raised in Philadelphia, Fran has lived and worked his entire life in the Philadelphia region. A graduate of the Cardinal Dougherty High School and LaSalle University, he has a background in both the real estate profession and the building trades. Fran, a licensed Broker/Appraiser, is in his nineteenth year as a real estate professional and is also the former president of Marwood, Inc., a lumber and woodworking supply company. With experience in selling residential real estate in both the city of Philadelphia and its suburban counties, he has knowledge in a wide range of geographic and economic areas serving a variety of clientele. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors(PAR) and the Montgomery County Board of Realtors (MCAR).

Fran has a strong commitment to serving our community's social and educational needs. He is a long-time member and former President of the Friends of Burholme, a volunteer organization which helps to maintain the Robert W. Ryerss Library and Museum, one of the historic Fairmount Park mansions. Having a strong commitment to the youth of our area, he is a Trustee and Board member of Abington Friends School, overseeing our nation's oldest school that has been run continuously at the same location (301 years). In addition, he serves on the Occupational Advisory Council of Mercy Vocational High School in Philadelphia helping to integrate students into the various trades in the regions.
