CONTRACT AMOUNT: $495,023
SCOPE OF WORK: Berks Ridge served as Construction Manager/General Contractor/Project Coordinator for planning, governmental approvals and construction of the 6,100 SF project. The initial meeting with the Building Committee in late June 1993, provided the authorization to proceed. The search and selection of the design professionals (Architect and Engineer) was completed mid-July. The first team meeting and presentation of the initial concept paln was held in mid-August. The project moved ahead quickly with all approvals, final construction drawings and subcontractor bidding being completed by mid-April, thus allowing demolition of the existing education wing and construction of the new wing to begin May 2, 1994. Construction was completed by the end of August, just fourteen months from start to finish, and within the original budget established by the owner.
