CONTRACT AMOUNT: $8,800,000
SCOPE OF WORK: Mercer Square, a neighborhood strip shopping center
was completed late in 1988. Berks Ridge joined the project team as construction
manager/general contractor at the inception of the project and provided
extensive cost analysis, value engineering and construction methods input
throughout the design process. Once construction began, Berks Ridge directed
all work related to shell construction of the 93,000 sf center as well as completing
tenant fit-up for Genuardi's Market, Lancaster Dress & Rite Aid Pharmacy.
