Woodcrest Estates by Michael Anthony Homes
Excitement is building for East Coventry Township's Newest Community
East Coventry Township, PA (February 2005)
- Building on its reputation for working in
cooperation with local community interests, Michael Anthony Homes of Montgomery County, is
preparing to open its newest community, Woodcrest Estates, by first committing to the
preservation of a historic barn on the building site.
"Rather than demolish this link to East Coventry's rural history, we decided to dismantle the
barn piece by piece, so that it can be reused," explained Michael Nolen, president of Michael
Anthony Homes. "We hired a company that has experience with reclaiming antique building materials
and re-uses them in other types of construction. As we made plans to build this new community,
it was important for us to preserve a part of its history."
Once the project is completed, Michael Anthony Homes will begin to develop, Woodcrest Estates,
a private enclave of 22 estate homes in the rolling hills of Chester County. The homes will be
built on ½ to ¾ acre cul-de-sac lots and finished with Belgiun block curbing. Ranging in size
from 3,000-4,500 square feet, the homes will be priced from the lower $500’s and will feature
many of the fine amenities that have made Michael Anthony Homes a standard in quality.
Features that are standard in a Michael Anthony home are typically priced as upgrades in other
homes. Heart-of-the-home kitchens with hardwood floors, Corian countertops, granite center
islands, and large eat-in areas that overlook spacious family rooms are all features that have
become favorites in a Michael Anthony home. Nine-foot ceilings throughout the first floor plus
two-story foyers add to the dramatic feel of open space. Three-car, side-entry garages are also
standard. One unique option includes a walk-up attic that can become a finished playroom, guest
or in-law suite.
Noted for quality and excellence in construction, the homes will feature top-of-the-line building
materials, an elegant trim package, maintenance free finishes, energy efficient HVAC, a home
warranty, and beautiful curb appeal. "Come home to quality," the slogan used by Michael
Anthony Homes to recognize its commitment to providing homebuyers with the highest level of
customer satisfaction, has resulted in personal referrals from many buyers who have already
built their dream home with Michael Anthony Homes.
Michael Nolen has more than 25 years experience in the homebuilding industry and his company has
earned prestigious Pinnacle Awards for Best Community of the Year and Best Single Family Home
of the Year.
